Some of the things we did between Mar 2010 and Feb 2011:
It was a busy year at Rainbows as we celebrated 100 years of Guiding, it was a Centenary to remember.
Rainbows took part in a number of Centenary activities including: aThinking Day Event, the Centenary Launch, a Rainbow Day at Twycross Zoo, a Rainbow Princess Party, the Centenary Finale, a Gang Show and a Christmas Disco.
As a group the girls completed their Aim Hi! Badges.
They enjoyed a number of theme evenings including: planting hyacinth bulbs, bonfire night – where they ate chocolate finger sparklers, 2 evenings based on the Rainbow promise, a Chinese evening – which included making dragons, and an evening discovering about their senses.
A few evenings were spent doing Christmas activities and crafts, including learning a dance to the song 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'.
Some girls also worked for, and enjoyed their ‘Pot of Gold’ party as they moved onto Brownies.
